"It was first time in the resto and it was huge! Not many people were there since it was early evening though but as the clock ticked more started coming in. I ordered their chili crabs and shrimps. The chili crabs are to die for and you definitely need two cups of rice cause one is not enough! It was so good and flavorful, it’s literally not the usual chili crabs you get so this is def a must try! With regards to the shrimp, it tasted okay. The shrimps were a little bit overcooked though making the shell hard to peel off but the taste was okay. I actually also used the sauce of the chili crabs for the shrimps since it made the shrimps much better! Service and staff was kind and thoughtful. I’d love to come back here again next time."

"Sharing some feedback regarding our dining experience at your branch tonight. Disappointing among experience karon. Gerarda's has always been known as one of the go-to family dining restaurants in Bohol, so naturally, we had high expectations... First, we noticed that the overall atmosphere and service felt different from what we used to experience. Murag nawala na ang warmth and attentiveness that made dining at Gerarda's enjoyable before. Our biggest concern was the Seafood Kare-Kare. The waiting time was extremely long to the point nga nahoman na mig kaon sa among sudan. We even informed the staff nga i-cancel na lang unta namo ang order since busog na mi ug done na among meal, but shortly after, mao pa gyud pag-serve sa dish. This was quite frustrating and affected our overall experience. The bam-i served nga mejo bugnaw na, ang rice dili na kaayo init. As for the food, honestly, it did not meet the expectations that come with the pricing. Gerarda's pricing is at a level where customers naturally expect great food, good portions, and a memorable dining experience. Unfortunately, the serving sizes felt small for the price, and some dishes were underwhelming. The Sisig, in particular, had a flavor that was quite surprising and not what we expected. Compared to other restaurants now, there are places that offer bigger servings, better presentation, and equally good, or even better food at a lower price point. We recently dined at Jose, for example, and noticed a significant difference in value and presentation. (sorry for comparing but, it is what it is) We're sharing this feedback coz we want to see Gerarda's improve. We have good memories of dining here, which is why it's disappointing to feel that the quality, service, and overall experience are no longer the same. (sorry to say, but maka ingon tag, dili na sya worth it balikan) We hope this feedback will be taken constructively and that improvements can be made moving forward."

"One of the OG Restaurants in Tagbilaran. The ambiance is very cozy, as the restaurant is actually a home that has been converted into a dining space. Seeing family photos displayed around the place added a warm and personal touch that we found really charming. The food also felt like it was cooked at home, which made the experience even more comforting. The restaurant was clean, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. We truly enjoyed the food we ordered—though we found the dishes to be a bit salty for our taste. The portions were generous, easily good for two to three people, making them great for sharing. Prices were comparable to those of restaurants in the mall, which felt reasonable given the quality and serving size. Overall, it’s a lovely place to eat with family or loved ones. We would definitely like to try more of their dishes if we ever find ourselves back in Tagbilaran."

"Went here after searching for restaurant near our hotel in Tagbilaran. The restaurant is situated in a quiet area of Tagbilaran. The ambiance of the restaurant is very cozy. It's a home that was converted to restaurant. There are pictures of their family, which is interesting for us. The place is clean and the staff are nice. We loved the food that we ordered, adobong pusit and mixed seafood. Serving is big and good for two to three persons. Price is same with restaurants in mall. Nice place for eating out with family/loved ones. Would like to try other dishes of we are going back to Tagbilaran."
